Parochial Bulletin
The Parochial Bulletin of the Orthodox Romanian Church "Descent of the Holy Spirit" from Oregon, is a monthly publication that prepares the believer for the month's evangelical themes. The Bulletin contains the program for the divine liturgy, poems, prayers, news, church's activities and from time to time hymns. This bulletin reflects the spiritual and religious state of this church. To reduce the publishing costs, these bulletins a prepared on line, and are available for download and print. These bulletins are made possible by the hard work and collaboration among church members. We hope that these publications are useful to the reader spiritually as much as culturally.
Our Father, who are in heaven hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
THE CREED
I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Only-Begotten, begotten of the Father before all ages; Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one essence with the Father, through whom all things were made; Who for us and for our salvation came down from heaven and was incarnated of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and became man.
And he was crucified for us under Pontius Pilates, and suffered and was buried. And on the third day rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. And he will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of life, who proceeds from the Father, who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. In one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the remission of sins. I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the age to come. Amen.
